How do they plan to return mined materials back to earth? And assuming that they do find an asteroid made of gold/platinum (and successfully retrieve those metals) — won’t that just make the price of gold/platinum plummet once they try to sell it on Earth?
Hmm. a measly 5GB of free storage? I was hoping google would make it a “5GB and counting” figure, so that it’s always increasing like Gmail storage… but I guess that would take away from the higher storage limits they’re trying to sell. (But they could’ve sold higher tiers that increased storage limits at a faster rate?)
Measuring genes, proteins, metabolites in real time could be really useful for health diagnostics. Wondering when they’ll get some twins to participate in this kind of study…

With Kickstarter getting all the popularity and attention for being a cool new way to create products/services, I think it’s interesting that Kickstarter relies on Amazon Payments — and it’s easy money for Amazon to just take a cut of Kickstarter’s innovations.
